As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible in overseeing a talented team of brand ambassadors who are focused on defining, designing, and executing multi-channel marketing programs to support key O'Reilly business objectives, heavily focused in the area of Loyalty marketing and advertising. Our Director of Marketing plans, develops, and implements marketing strategies and brand vision, by setting the standard for marketing. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and innovative Director of Marketing who will have the opportunity to enhance our iconic brand as we continue to be recognized as the industry leader. The ideal candidate will possess a true passion for marketing, advertising, and brand loyalty as well as demonstrate superior leadership and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, plan and execute Loyalty marketing initiatives including:

  1. Analytics: Perform periodic and post-campaign KPI analyses to inform the business and shape future strategies to better understand and motivate customer behaviors

  2. Promotions: Stimulate incremental visits and sales

  3. Enhancements: Continuously improve the programs offered

  4. Engagement: Maintain active program participation

  5. Tracking: Provide on-going reporting on program activities and ROI

  • Support partnership development and ongoing engagement for the loyalty program across various categories as well as design and implement initiatives to build O'Reilly brand awareness

  • Provide meaningful insights into business performance making recommendations for improvements, new content, new initiatives, opportunities, etc. that will drive loyalty traffic to stimulate sales and profitable growth

  • Oversee the annual planning and execution of Advertising objectives and strategies

  • Work closely with various departments to achieve our O'Reilly brand objectives

  • Actively participate and present in Advertising Committee meetings

  • Be the O'Reilly brand ambassador and lead Marketing to ultimately improve customer lifetime value

    What You Need

  • 8+ years of experience managing Advertising and Loyalty marketing functions in a multi-channel retail environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising (Masters preferred)

  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience across marketing, advertising, promotions, market research, loyalty, and relationship marketing disciplines

  • Prior management experience in corporate advertising/marketing or at an advertising agency

  • Self-motivated, highly collaborative individual with a passion for retail

  • Creative, innovative and solutions oriented

  • Experience leading cross functional teams

  • Excellent analytical abilities, precise attention to detail and experience driving successful content strategies across multiple channels

  • Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced, always changing environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail
